"If I Didn't Care" written by Jack Lawrence and originally recorded by The Ink Spots in 1939, was released by The Platters in 1961 on Mercury Records, reaching # 30 on the pop charts. The influence of Bill Kenny lead singer of the Ink Spots on the Platters lead Tony Williams can be heard at the end of the song. "If I Didn't Care" can be found on the CD box set The Magic Touch Platters Anthology on the PolyGram label.
